ABOUT ME

I am a Reader (Associate Professor) in The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK. I hold a MSc. degree (Dipl.-Ing.) with a focus on Microelectronics from RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany (2005) and a PhD Degree from Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK (2013). Before my faculty appointment at the University of Manchester in 2014 I was a project manager for micro-electro-mechanical-systems (MEMS) at Robert Bosch GmbH, Reutlingen, Germany. My research interests include nano- and opto-electronic devices based on graphene/2D-materials and silicon (CMOS), nano- and micro-(opto-)electro-mechanical-system (N/M(O)EMS) as well as semiconductor and related manufacturing processes.
